About
hunch.games
Each game gives every player the same puzzle, once a day. Finish it and you are done until tomorrow.
What ends up in the chat
Finish a puzzle and you get a result you can paste anywhere: fixed width, spoiler-free, and it never turns into a link card. This is what one looks like.

No account
Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for. Your streaks, stats and half-finished puzzles live in this browser’s storage, so clearing site data clears them and they do not follow you to another device. That is the trade for never asking who you are.
Streaks and freezes
Win a day and the streak goes up. Miss a single day and a freeze covers it automatically, so the streak survives. You hold two freezes at a time and earn one back every ten days. Miss two days in a row and the streak starts again. Freezes exist because a streak you can repair keeps pulling you back, and one you cannot makes quitting feel tidy.
Distributions, not rankings
After you finish you see where your result sits among everyone who played the same puzzle today, plus a percentile. You never see a global rank. Ranked ladders reliably make the people below the middle try less, and a public top hundred on a browser game cannot be policed for cheating anyway. A distribution answers the interesting question without either cost.
